The compression syndrom of the posterior circumflex humeral artery is an in
frequent vascular compression syndrome and differential diagnosis of the th
oracic outlet- and the hypothenar-hammer-syndrom. The diagnosis includes a
complete interview and a transfemoral armarteriography. Our report is about
an affected volleyball player, the possible pathomechanism that can lead t
o this syndrom and the current literature.
