Achieving successful collaboration in the evaluation of sexual assault prevention programs - A case study

This article summarizes the collaborative evaluation of a sexual assault pr evention education program. First, all overview of collaborative evaluation is provided,followed by a description of one program in which successful c ollaboration between a prevention educator and an evaluation consultant was achieved. Finally, the lessons that the collaborators learned arc used to make recommendations for collaboration in the field of sexual assault preve ntion. Although additional time and personal commitment are required for tr ue collaborative evaluation to take place, the benefits make such commitmen t worthwhile.
