New and interesting records of lichenized fungi from Slovakia

Twelve taxa (Absconditella lignicola, Aspicilia moenium, Bacidia viridescen s, Bacidina arnoldiana, Lecanora dispersa, Lecidea variegatula, Macentina a bscondita, Placynthiella dasaea, Psorotichia lutophila, Steinia geophana, S trigula sychnogonoides, Verrucaria dolosa) are treated. Most are apophytic, increasing under the influence of human activities. Many are also short-li ved and complete their whole life cycle within a few months. Lecanora dispe rsa is recorded from polystyrene and Strigula sychnogonoides from wooden ch ipboards. Bacidia viridescens, Lecidea variegatula, Macentina abscondita an d Psorotichia lutophila are new to Slovakia.
