K. Tsukagoshi et al., Migration behavior of the polymer particles possessing carboxylate and borate moieties in capillary electrophoresis, CHEM LETT, (9), 2001, pp. 926-927
Migration behavior of functional polymer particles, such as carboxylic acid
- and phenylboric acid-modified polymer particles, was examined in capillar
y electrophoresis (CE) using migration buffers containing metal ions or sac
charides. It was found that the interaction between functional groups on th
e particles and the specific chemical species in the migration buffers infl
uenced the migration behavior of the polymer particles. The obtained result
s supported the possibility that CE becomes useful method for examining the
property of functional polymer particles.
