Abstract
We study the spectral properties of elliptic systems on perturbed fibered c ylinders. This general framework covers the acoustic and elastic cylinders. Although the electromagnetic case does not exactly fit into this framework , we prove similar results for it. Our approach is based on constructing an appropriate conjugate operator using general properties of the dispersion curves.
