This paper presents a comprehensive numerical simulation for the advanced s
econdary/over fired air Ecotube system. The computational fluid dynamics te
chnique is applied to simulate and analyze the performance of this new air
system in two typical coal and solid waste fired furnaces. Results show tha
t the numerical simulation is successful and the Ecotube technique has good
