Abstract
Tris [{3-(N-acetyl-N-hydroxy)-glycylamino}propyl]amine (TAGP) forms a 1:1 t ris(hydroxamato)iron(III) complex even at a low pH(approximate to2), which promotes the growth of the siderophore-auxotrophic mutant Microbacterium fl avescens.
