Abstract
This paper concerns with the stability analysis and synthesis of nonlinear retarded systems via linear Takagi-Sugeno (TS) fuzzy model approach, First, the TS fuzzy models with time-delay are present and the stability conditio ns are derived using Lyapunov-Razumikhin functional approach. Then a stabil ization approach for nonlinear retarded systems through fuzzy state feedbac k and fuzzy observer-based controller is proposed. It shows that the analys is results provide an efficient technique for the design of fuzzy controlle rs. Sufficient conditions for the existence of fuzzy state feedback gain an d fuzzy observer gain of the time-delay systems are derived through the num erical solution of a set of coupled linear matrix inequalities.
