Abstract
A PASCAL implementation of an algorithm for solving Signorini's contac t problem with friction in two dimensions is presented, based on the S ORP-method (Successive Overrelaxation with Projection). A method for c ompact storage of sparse matrices has been applied. The presented impl ementation is suitable for solving contact problems connected with int eraction between an elastic body and a rigid obstacle with or without friction.
