Ultrasonic velocities. densities and viscosities have been measured for the
ternary system of cyclohexane + toluene + 2-propanol at 303, 308 and 313 K
. From these data, acoustical parameters such as adiabatic compressibility,
free length, free volume and internal pressure have been estimated using t
he standard relations. The results have been analysed on the basis of varia
tions in ultrasonic velocities and free lengths. Cyclohexane-toluene comple
xes are observed to be broken by 2-propanol. The presence of weak interacti
ons are noticed in the ternary system.
