Abstract
The hyperbolic metric h(Omega) of the twice punctured complex plane Omega i s studied. A new recursive algorithm for computing the density lambda (Omeg a) of h(Omega) given. For a proper subdomain G of SZ we answer a question o f G. Martin concerning quasiconformal mappings of G that can be extended to the complement of G as the identity map.
