We report the demonstration of 10-Hz strong emission at 19-nm from a Ni-lik
e Mo x-ray laser. The transient collisional excitation pumped Ni-like Mo x-
ray laser is based on a Mo capillary target which is pumped longitudinally
by a 10-Hz table-top Ti:sapphire laser with the output energy of about 240m
J per shot. Calculated results are also shown, which are in good agreement
with the experimental results. The demonstrated new scheme opens up the way
towards the realization of saturated soft-x-ray lasers with a multi-hertz
repetition rate.
