O. Larroche et al., Effect of the geometry of a half-cavity on the output and spatial coherence of the 21.2 nm laser investigated with the COLAX code, J PHYS IV, 11(PR2), 2001, pp. 289-292
The two-dimensional Maxwell-Bloch code COLAX has been used to optimize the
geometrical parameters of the half-cavity in a neon-like Zn X-ray laser. Th
e tuning of the mirror position and curvature is shown to be a crucial step
in designing such an experimental setup, as it influences both the amplifi
ed intensity and the spatial coherence of the double-pass X-ray laser beam.
