An experimental investigation on the interaction between ultra-short intens
e laser pulses and microcapillary has been carried out. The X spectrum from
glass microcapillary is obtained successfully. Experimental results show t
hat the X-ray radiation enhanced intensively with increasing the capillary
length. In the same condition, the X-ray radiation yields of capillary targ
et are more than one order higher than that of plane one. The average elect
ron temperature of capillary plasma is higher when the laser pulse energy i
s increased.
