A new driver of the fast capillary discharge is designed. It consists of th
e Marx generator and radial Blumline pulse forming line. Such a geometry en
ables axial access to both capillary ends ("transparent capillary"). This s
ubstantially simplifies the experiments (adjustment, monitoring, applicatio
ns). The designed apparatus is capable to reach the discharge current above
90 kA and the discharge current rise time 4x10(12) A/s, which is sufficien
t for investigation of amplification in non-traditional electronic transiti
ons.
