We present the theoretical result of impulsive control of the Rossler
system to periodic motions, A sufficient condition for existence of pe
riodic trajectories of the impulsively controlled Rossler system is gi
ven. Based on the theoretical results, we present a systematic method
of designing impulsive control laws. We present the proportional and a
dditive impulsive control laws as two examples to show how an impulsiv
e control law can be designed, Numerical experiments are used to show
