Abstract
We propose a technique for quantitative estimate of the power of a lea k by the acoustic method using a Germes-2 ultrasonic leak detector. We have determined the sensitivity thresholds of the method for gas and gas/liguid leaks. We have investigated the frequency spectra of gas le aks. We give recommendations for development of techniques and devices for ultrasonic leak detection.
