Abstract
The Blume-Caper (BC) model with four-spin interactions is studied with in the finite cluster approximation (FCA). We have investigated the in fluence of the four-spin interactions on the phase diagram of the BC m odel. It is shown that the phase diagram may exhibit a reentrant behav iour and that the tricritical behaviour persists for every strength of the four-spin interaction.
