Solubility measurements for two pharmaceutical products, zopiclone and nimo
dipine, in supercritical carbon dioxide are reported over the temperature r
ange (313 to 333) K and pressure range (10.0 to 25.0) MPa. The solubilities
were measured using a continuous flow apparatus. The measured mole fractio
ns of the two compounds in supercritical carbon dioxide are correlated with
the density of the pure solvent, and the solubilities are correlated using
the model proposed by Chrastil.
