Abstract
Polyphenols with (M) over bar(w)/(M) over bar(n) close to unity were p repared by polycondensation of tetramethyloyl-derivatives of bisphenol s with phenols of various structure. The ways to prepare soluble oligo mers with a yield up to 100% were found. When HCl was used as a cataly st, polyphenols with molecular mass distribution close to monomodal we re formed.
