POLARIZATION HUNGER DOMINANT

A new experimental model of dominant was developed by the author, the so called a ''polarization'' hunger dominant created by application of weak direct current to the lateral hypothalamus in combination with a sound stimulus, There was an increase in the delta component of the e lectrical activity of the left parietal cortex (the dominant focus) wh ile the EEG spectral power of the other cortical areas, lateral and ve ntrolateral hypothalamus decreased in the slow-wave ranges.
