Abstract
Mahafacyclin B is a cyclic heptapeptide with antimalarial activity isolated from the latex of Jatropha mahafalensis. The structure is elucidated by ch emical degradation, tandem mass spectrometry, homo- and heteronuclear NMR e xperiments. and confirmed by synthesis.
