Abstract
Reaction of 1-trimethylsilyl-2,2-diflurocyclopropane derivative with a ldehydes in the presence of a catalytic amount of TBAF (4 mol%) provid es the corresponding cyclopropylcarbinols via cleavage of the carbon-s ilicon bond. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
