The microstructure of an internally oxidized CuMg alloy has been examined b
y means of high-resolution transmission electron microscopy. A new orientat
ional. relationship, Sigma 21 [211], has been determined by selected-area e
lectron diffraction. The dislocation network for such an orientational. rel
ationship, calculated using the near coincident site lattice theory, is a p
arallel array of edge dislocations with Burgers vectors of the type 1/21[l
0 2 (1) over bar], 1/21[1 (4) over bar 2], and 1/21[(4) over bar (5) over b
