Abstract
A simple electrical network for a single-layer microstrip patch antenna (SL MPA) and the feeding structure (coaxial probe and compensating capacitor) i s proposed to predict the input impedance. The mathematical analysis allows ors to design an optimum feed that enhances the impedance bandwidth (BW). (C) 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
