Abstract
We calculate the radiative corrections to the current-current correlator of the hybrid current g (q) over bar (x)gamma (v)iG(muv)(a)T(a)q(x). Based on this new result, we use the QCD sum-rule approach to estimate a lower boun d on the masses of the J(PC) = 1(-+) light hybrid and find that so far the QCD sum rule excludes (p) over cap (1400) from being a pure hybrid state.
