Abstract
We experimentally investigate the temporal development of photorefractive s olitons in strontium-barium niobate waveguides at visible and infrared wave lengths. The development times in the infrared are shown to be comparable w ith those in the visible. The results are compared with predictions of a pr eviously published model.
