Abstract
An unusual alkaloid, the 2-aza-anthraquinone derivative, 5-deoxy-7-methyl b ostrycoidin, was identified in the cultures of the spore-derived mycobionts of the lichen Haematomma sp., but not in the natural lichen thallus. (C) 2 001 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
