Abstract
A quantum theory of consecutive interactions of counterpropagating waves wi th multiple frequencies omega ,2 omega, and 3 omega is developed. Parametri c processes of high- and low-frequency amplification of omega and 3 omega w aves are studied in the approximation of an undepleted 2 omega pump field. Fluctuations of quadrature components, statistics of photons, and correlati on between fluctuations of photon numbers are considered at these frequenci es.
