Multiple pulmonary leiomyomatous nodules: benign metastasing leiomyoma?

Pulmonary smooth muscle lesions are rare explaining their imperfect underst anding. Two cases of multiple pulmonary leiomyomatous lesions in patients w ho previously underwent surgery for benign uterine leiomyoma are reported. Literature was reviewed to know if the controversial question of benign met astasising leiomyomas could be resolved Therapeutic possibilities of this p athology are also discussed.
