Abstract
The pentacoordinated Zn atom in the title compound, [Zn(C52H36Cl4N8O4)(CH4O )]. CHCl3, is displaced from the porphyrin N-4 plane towards the axial meth anol ligand by 0.269 (2) Angstrom. The average Zn-N(porphyrin) distance is 2.063 (9) Angstrom and the axial Z-DO(MeOH) distance is 2.147 (5) Angstrom.
