Abstract
The crystal structure of hexagonal ErMnO3, erbium manganese trioxide, has b een determined at room temperature. It is isomorphous with YMnO3. Although we observed inversion twinning, similar to YMnO3, the twin fractions do not have a 1:1 ratio, and the crystals are expected to show net ferroelectrici ty.
