Abstract
In the title Ag I complex of 1,5-bis(phenylthio)pentane, {[Ag(C17H20S2)(2)] PF6}(n), Ag-I centers coordinate to four S atoms and display a distorted te trahedral geometry. Ligands link adjacent Ag-I atoms to form an infinite pa rquet-like framework. The PF6- ions are incorporated in the cavities of the network to complete and stabilize the structure.
