In the title compound, C17H12N4O6, the dinitrophenyl and 2-hydroxy-5-methyl
phenyl groups are oriented with dihedral angles of 23.9 (1) and 13.1 (1)deg
rees, respectively, with respect to the pyrazole ring. The internal C-C-C r
ing angles at the ortho and para positions where NO2 is bonded are 121.7 (2
) and 121.9 (2)degrees. The dihedral angle between the phenyl rings is 11.2
(1)degrees. The crystal structure is stabilized by O-H . . .N intramolecul
ar and by C-H . . .O intermolecular hydrogen bonds.
