Abstract
The structure of the title compound, [Co(C4H4NOS2)(2)(CH4O)(2)], has been d
etermined at 180 (2) K. The molecule possesses (1) over bar point symmetry
with the Co-II atom adopting a Jahn-Teller-distorted octahedral geometry. T
he molecules are linked into chains by O-H . . .O hydrogen-bond interaction
s involving the H atom of the coordinated methanol molecules.
