Abstract
The title compound, [Ag(C24H18N4O)]CF3SO3.0.4H(2)O, can be described as a z igzag polymer. The Ag atom is coordinated to the N atoms of two pyridylimin e units resulting in a distorted tetrahedral coordination geometry. Both th e Ag atom and the central O atom of the ligand are situated on mutually per pendicular crystallographic twofold axes.
