Abstract
The 2-(N,N-dimethylcarbamoyl)ethyl group of the title complex, [Co(C4H7N2O2 )(2)(C5H10NO)(C8H11N)], forms a hydrogen bond with the (R)-1-phenylethylami ne group of a neighboring molecule, which may be a reason why the group gav e low reactivity in the solid-state photoisomerization to 1-(N,N-dimethylca rbamoyl)ethyl group.
