Abstract
The structure of the title compound, [Mo(eta (6)-C4Me4B2F2)(2) (CO)(2)], (I
I), was determined by X-ray crystallography at 173 K and has two independen
t molecules of (II) in the asymmetric unit. The six-membered diboracycles a
re eta (6)-coordinated [Mo-C-alkene = 2.4157 (18)-2.6008 (19); Mo-B = 2.538
(2)-2.621 (2) Angstrom].
