Abstract
The title compound, [Mo2O5(C11H10N3O)(2)] . 2CH(3)CN, is a dinuclear molybd enum complex. It has crystallographic C-2 symmetry with the central O atom located on a twofold rotation axis. The Mo atoms, octahedrally coordinated by four O and two N atoms, are bridged by a mu -O and two mu -pyrazolonyl g roups. An intermolecular N-H . . .O hydrogen bond stabilizes the crystal pa cking.
