The structure of the title compound, C10H15ClN5O .0.5H(2)O, comprises non-p lanar molecules that associate via N-H . . .N and N-H . . .O interactions t o form a three-dimensional hydrogen-bonded array. The water molecule reside s on a twofold axis and is also involved in the hydrogen-bonding network.
