Abstract
The crystal structure of the title compound, C10H9ClN4S, is reported. There is pi -conjugation between triazine and the bridging N4 atom, where N atom s are sp(2) hybridized. The plane of the triazine ring forms a dihedral ang le of 54.35 (4)degrees with the phenyl plane. There exists an intermolecula r N-H . . .N hydrogen bond to form a dimer with an N . . .N separation of 2 .991 (2) Angstrom.
