Abstract
We demonstrated that in a large nondiabetic population, a graded continuous relation was present between the level of urinary albumin excretion and is chemic electrocardiographic abnormalities, without an apparent threshold. T hese data suggest that the level of urinary albumin excretion can be used t o establish cardiovascular risk in the population at large.
