Abstract
Primary direct stent implantation was successful in 100 of 107 eligible pat ients (93.5%) with an angiographic restenosis rate of 11% at 11.25 +/- 5.30 months of follow-up. Predictive variables of restenosis were diabetes mell itus. the reference diameter, and residual stenosis after stenting; no proc edural variables were associated with restenosis.
