Abstract
To clarify the mechanism for prevention of atrial fibrillation (AF) recurre nce by atrial septal pacing from the viewpoint of signal-averaged P-wave du ration dispersion and atrial late potential, we studied 10 patients with an d 15 patients without paroxysmal AF. Atrial septal pacing decreased the deg ree of P-wave dispersion and the incidence of atrial late potential in pati ents with paroxysmal AF.
