Abstract
The Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert (LLG) equations describe the dynamics of ferrom agnets. Using various assumptions, several exact solutions to this nonlinea r system are determined in Refs. [Phys. Rev. Lett. 65 (1990) 787; J.F. Dill on, Domains and domain walls, in: G.T. Rado, H. Suhl (Eds.), A Treatise on Modern Theory and Materials. Vol. 3: Magnetism, Academic Press, New York, 1 963; J. Nonlinear Mech. 36(4) (2001) 571; J. Appl. Phys. 45 (1974) 5406; Ph ys. Rev. B 43 (1991) 5908]. This paper generalizes these previous results a nd develops several quasi-exact solutions. The accuracy of these quasiexact solutions is illustrated in several examples. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science In c. All rights reserved.
