Abstract
Two new alkaloids, komavine (1) and acetylkomavine (2) were isolated for th e first time from the aerial part of Nitraria komarovii. Their H-1 and C-13 NMR spectra were studied. Komavine was synthesized by condensation of tryp tamine with cyclohexanone. These same alkaloids were also isolated from Nit raria schoberi.
