Abstract
Coagulase-negative staphylococci (CNS) are an important cause of catheter-r elated bloodstream infections. This review will shed light on the pathogene sis related to biofilm formation, and will discuss antimicrobial susceptibi lity of CNS to older and newer antibiotics, as well as therapeutic options.
