Abstract
This article critically discusses how the offence of causing death by dange rous driving operates in relation to the very worst examples of vehicular h omicide, where murder or manslaughter were originally charged. It provides the results of a study examining the prosecution of such cases from 1995-98 , which uncover recurrent problems in cases of vehicular homicide.
