Abstract
A convenient procedure for the synthesis of a new porphyrin-C-60 dyad via t he reaction between 5-(4-aminophenyl)10,15,20-tris(4-methoxyphenyl) porphyr in and a C-60 carboxylic acid is described. The results of preliminary phot oelectrochemical studies on nanostructured SnO2 electrodes coated with the new dyad suggest that the resultant substrate is suitable for solar energy conversion devices.
