Abstract
We report on the chiral separation of pharmacologically active dihydropyrim idinones by capillary electrophoresis (CE) using carboxymethyl-beta -cyclod extrin as chiral selector. The influence of selector concentration, pH, and the addition of varying amounts of methanol is investigated. Out of 21 com pounds investigated, 19 were resolved, 13 with baseline separation.*
